Plot: Welcome to the Hotel Transylvania, Dracula's lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up, free to be the monsters they are without humans to bother them. On one special weekend, Dracula has invited some of the world's most famous monsters - Frankenstein and his wife, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, a family of werewolves, and more - to celebrate his daughter Mavis' 118th birthday. For Drac, catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem - but his world could come crashing down when a human stumbles on the hotel for the first time and takes a shine to Mavis.

My mom and I absolutely loved it. Adam Sandler does have some very good comedy though usually he is more geared to adults but this one shows great versatility. Not only is it a show about monsters, it provides humor and family dynamics. I recommend this movie for both it's comedic and family values concepts. Though I am sure many may disagree with me on that I feel Adam did a great job in portraying some issues that plague family life with both humor and understanding and I feel that this movie is both. It teaches about family relationships and provides comedy. Something that is sadly lacking in today society. Also, The way the monsters of all kinds come together as family that is something that all people could learn from. Though different we are all basically the same. I loved the entire collection of Hotel Transylvania movies. Each is unique and has it's own lesson about family and love.
