@youngster bro in symbian 7 and 8 phones for making subfolders instead of installing application one can also rename apps folder eg:e:/system/apps/anyapp to e:/system/apps/anyapp1..
The menu also refreshes in this procedure also....when done then u can rename it back to its normal...
It also takes very less time in this procedure to follow

ok frnds, many of u may have a ringtone, which u don't want to share with anyone.
there is a solution but for a wav tones only.
Just rename the file extension from .wav to .mid or .midi
it will play as wav but while sending via bluetooth it will show error "unable to send protected object"
have fun, n keep ur favorite ringtone on your phone

DELETING VIRUS MANUALLY
FIRSTLY I WIL TELL SOME WAYS ON HOW TO RECOGNISE A VIRUS IN YOUR S60V2 PHONE
>WHEN YOUR PHONE KEEPS ON RESTARTING ON ITS OWN
>ITS SENDING TEXT MESSAGES TO SOME UNKNOWN NUMBER(USUALLY ISD) ON ITS OWN AND THIS PROCESS IS NOT STOPING
>MOST IMPORTANT IS WHENEVER YOUR PHONE'S BLUETOOTH IS ON, IT KEEPS ON SENDING SOME FILES TO OTHER BLUETOOTH DEVICES
>BATTERY DRAINS FASTER THEN NORMAL
>NOT ABLE TO INSTALL AND RUN SOME APPS

THE BEST METHOD IS FORMATTING BUT IT SHOULD BE AVOIDED AS IT TAKES A VERY LONG TIME AND ALSO REINSTALLING ALL PREVIOUS APPS AND SETTINGS SUCKS.. So an alternative is removing those viruses manually...
Viruses are mainly found in system areas of both phone memory and memory card...
I will tell in brief how to search and remove those manually firstly turn on your bluetooth and someone else's also(just turn on dont send or recieve anything)
open xplore press 0 and tick mark show hidden files and show system files/folders now go to phone memory and press and hold right navigation key
xplore will start opening all folders one by one... In system folders(sub folders in data, apps, and mail are mainly the target areas of these viruses) as soon as you find any unknown and strange sis and app file of same name in a folder(exe file may also be there) try deleting it... If it says cannot delete then turn off your bluetooth or just put your phone to offline mode and then try deleting it. If still its not able to delete then rename the folder containing the files and delete the entire folder(hey take care that the folder is containing only those files).. Do it for all such strange files and your viruses are gone.. For viruses that restart your phone just formatting is only option cause if you delete virus files after reboot they will reappear if all files are not deleted... For various virus related problems nokian77 is the most genius person of the entire forum

INCREASING FREE PHONE MEMORY by RESETTING MUSIC LIBRARY IN N72 AND N70
[B] DEFAULT MUSIC PLAYER'S LIBRARY IS A FILE NAMED music.db in c:system/data
you guys must have noticed it that whenever you open music player it shows some opening followed by processing.. That opening is because the music player is reading that music.db file and processing is because the music player is scanning the entire disk(both c and d) drive for newly added music files of mp3,wav,aac and other supported formats. Everytime some new files are found a processing advances slowly which means that the file data is added to music.db file... Well This feature of addition has some major bugs in it and i can tell you what are they... Suppose you added 200 tracks to your phone. When you open music player next time processing occurs
during that processing file info is added to music.db file which is not modified even if you delete the entire songs in your phone leaving behind database file containing data of those tracks which dont exist anymore. And second bug is sometimes(say after you re insert your card) the processing takes place from starting, now in this case the whole of music.db file is written again with existing data as such... I ll tell you my own story , around 5 months ago i checked that the music.db file in my phone was of 1.7mb because of overwritting again and again
wel d solutn to this problem is simple.. Deleting that file.. So next time you open music player processing will start from begining and after completing you will see the same music.db file of lesser size say in 80 to 150 kb..

Restoring old bookmarks and logins and history of operamini
if opera mini needs a reinstall or phone needs a format but you are tired of loging in again and saving bookmarks in opera mini then this method will help you a lot
go to c:system/MIDlets there you will see folders of different names just open each one there
the one with a file mini.Jar is our target.. Copy the file rms.db to some other safe location and format or uninstall
when you install it again then find the mini.jar in MIDlets folder and replace rms.db of older version with this one(older file has greater size)
