With support for up to eight virtual CPUs and eight gigabytes of virtual memory provided speed is eight times higher than before.

In connection with the transition to a new architecture of Parallels Desktop 4 under W!ndows and Linux uses Adaptive hypervisor, allows you to automatically reallocate resources between physical and virtual machines, depending on their load. In the product sold most of the long-used and very popular among users of Parallels Desktop for Mac features such as Coherence and SmartX tools with support for most USB-devices.

The new solution includes a special application Parallels Transporter for rapid migration of physical machines to virtual, which also allows you to import virtual machines from third parties.
